Addison's first ride on the EL! 
She rode from Kedzie (as shown above) to Western on the Brown Line escorted, of course, by me. We met Kate Cheeseman for lunch at Cafe Salemarie, spent time browsing The Book Cellar and then walked all the way to Borders in Uptown. It was worth all the traveling though, as Addison has now added Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Mr. Brown can MOO! Can you? to her library. Such a little reader...
Monday she also had her first trip to the Glenview Dairy Bar where we met Christie for a treat. Christie and I were gluttons, sucking down a peanut butter chocolate shake and a boston chocolate shake respectively. Our bellies were aching in the best kind of way.
