Lunch Accessories

Addison really likes to play with her food. I let her do it, begrudgingly, because "all the books" say that it is developmentally appropriate for her to want to smear her PB&J across her cheeks or to want to stick a blueberry up her nose.


It's frustrating because she ends up looking like baby street urchin and I end up do a lot more laundry.


Lately, Addison particularly enjoys smushing her food. Balling up toast, squishing berries, wearing pickles and grapes like rings. I find the wearing of the food quite funny, albeit a bit messy. At least she is already grasping the importance of accessorizing.
