Yes, we've been very busy over the past week. No, we aren't really going to talk about it, except to say Addison's main goal right now is to spend time with Grandpa Neyer and to dole out smiles and giggles to anyone who crosses her path.

That is her lot in life. To smile and giggle and charm the pants off of every human being she spies.

In between all this smiling and giggling, however, there have been some new tricks learned.
Addison is 100 percent walking. She does laps throughout our downstairs and all over Grandpa and Grandma's. She can walk barefoot, in socks, in soft booties and in kicking cute red patent leather maryjanes. She loves climbing the stairs. Oh. Dear. Lord.

Her favorite word is still Dada, but we hear a lot more Mamas and gibberish. She also is working on saying Cat, but only has the T sound down. Meaning I hear Te Te Te about four thousand times a day.

One of her new favoritest past times is to open a book (usually Baby Beluga or I Love My Mommy Because) and point at each animal one at a time. Each time she points at an animal she looks at me and says "Da?" in the cutest most questioning way, always waiting for an answer.

Addison no longer thinks that she needs naps. Nope, not her, she's a big girl. She doesn't need to sleep and give Mommy a nanosecond of peace and quiet. I am hoping this is just a phase...if not I may have to institutionalize myself. To put it into perfect perspective, she was driving me so batty two days ago that I told Aunt Nikki that Addie needed to spend some time with her godmother before I introduced to her to God myself.

Finally, Addison is getting better and better at feeding herself. She loves when she can get her chow onto her fork or spoon. She doesn't always have the patience for the process though. At times she puts her food into her ear, or nose, or the back of her neck. Two days ago I caught her taking one of her turkey cheese dog pieces, smashing into the clip of her pretty pink barrette and then trying to put the barrette in her hair. Lovely.
