5 months

Hey little Brenna Bear - over a week ago you turned five months old.  We spent the day getting you baptised and never got around to taking the official "5 month" photo.
Against all odds, we had a few extra minutes this morning before bringing Addie to school and were able to slap that sticker on your belly and snap a few shots.

In the past month you have grown so much, even if you are still a bitty little peanut.  You now, more or less, sleep through the night, and when you do wake you do with giggles and chattering.  We've slowed down on nursing and formula seems to adding some girth to your rolls.  Rarely do we see that little lady who had such temper, although I know it is still right there beneath the surface.  You continue to go with the flow, spending lots of time strapped in the car seat and being pushed in the stroller.  You complain when you are tired or hungry, but wet, dirty diapers don't phase you at all.   Your crooked little neck seems to doing much better - we no longer get PT services, but you still have daily stretches that you are much more tolerant of.

You smile and giggle a lot - your toothless grin can melt the coldest of hearts.  You continue to love Mom and Dad, you think Papa and your Grandmas are pretty neat, you think your aunts and uncles are great and love to flirt with our neighbors, but your absolute favorite person is still Addie.  Your biggest smiles are reserved for her, you look for her every morning and you calm at the sound of her voice.  Put simply, you idolize your big sister.

Everything, everything, still goes in your mouth.  But by far your favorite teething "toys" are your feet - you slurp on them a gazillion times a day and it is unusual for your toes to be dry.  Every day I put at least three pairs of socks on you - I am not sure why, as you yank them off moments after your feet are shoved in them, or you suck on them until they're soaking.  Then again, I can't help but kiss on those sweet little toes either.
