Carolina Snapshot

Five kids, aged five and under.  Six adults.  Two weeks on the Carolina shore.  Ahhhh.

Kites were flown.  Holes were dug.  Shells were collected.  There was boogie boarding, wave jumping and tide pool sitting.  Mini golf, ice cream, arcade games.  Waffles, pancakes and freezey pops.  Sparklers, glow bracelets, and Mexican train dominoes.  Books were read, naps were taken, the TV was rarely on, and the hammock was put to good use.

We partook in some good old fashioned gluttony.  Tuna, shrimp, grouper, scallops.  Crab cakes, fish tacos, clams casino.  Peach sangria, Modelo Especial, Summer Brew, wine filled cantaloupes.  Lots and lots of laughter.   

The mornings were early, the nights weren't late and it was, my friends, perfection....
